LAUNCH LEADER REGISTRATION IS CLOSED
Over the past several months the leaders of technical communities around the world have been hosting Community Launch events focusing on technical dives of Microsoft Windows Server 2008™, Visual Studio 2008™, and SQL Server 2008™. Registration for Community Launch leadership has closed. Please look for upcoming Community Launch efforts over the next few months. You can be informed of this by your local field representative or user group leader.

MICROSOFT USER GROUP SUPPORT SERVICES (UGSS) – DRIVING THE NEXT COMMUNITY LAUNCH SERIES
Microsoft User Group Support Services (UGSS) will power the next Community Launch series. In addition to Community Launch initiatives, UGSS provides a process and a portal that helps improve the quality of content available to User Group Leaders worldwide as well as a rich set of tools to help manage your groups. UGSS partners with Microsoft product teams to provide content built specifically for User Group events (demos, discussion presentations and other content). This content is free to User Group Leaders and available through the {UGSS Connect portal}. IT Pros can access IT Pro related content on UGSS through this TechNet link. Developers can access Developer specific content on UGSS through this MSDN link.

FIND AN EVENT
Haven’t attended a Community Launch event yet? Use the event search tool (located to the right of the home page) to find a Heroes {Community} Launch event! The Community leaders hosting these events have been trained directly from Microsoft and empowered to host technical launch events. Ask your local User Group Leader or use the event search tool to locate a Community-led Launch Event in your area.
